Aboriginal Resource and Development Services Inc (ARDS) is recognised as an effective capacity building organisation.
ARDS has developed a wealth of cross-cultural and language expertise over more than thirty years in north-east Arnhem Land.
This expertise is invaluable to anyone working with Indigenous people in the Northern Territory.
ARDS makes this expertise available through ‘Bridging the Cultural Divide’ seminars or through tailored cross-cultural workshops.
ARDS is unique, as its education resources and communications are predominantly in Yolngu languages using Yolngu world view concepts.
This approach greatly improves the success of education and communications.
ARDS works on a fee-for-service basis in the areas of economics, law, health, social and governance systems.
ARDS also has a range of language and other learning resources including free audio programs, books and CDs available to purchase online and an interactive online dictionary.
